Where are we going, this time

Flying to the UK via Dubai, touring the UK for two weeks visiting Yorkshire of course. Then down to Southampton to board the Caribbean Princess to cruise the Baltic to Bruges, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, St. Petersburg, Tallin, Gdansk, then back to Southampton where we board the Sea Princess on it's return to Sydney via Cork, Dublin, Glasgow, Reykjavik, Halifax, New York, Charleston, Curacao, Cartagena, Panama Canal, Manta, Lima, Pisco, Easter Island, Pitcairn Island, Tahiti, Bora Bora, Pago Pago, Auckland, Sydney, and then home to Melbourne.

Curacao

This is one of the ABC islands in the Caribbean.  Our friend Karen had done some research and organised a great day here, it started with a tour of the city with its colourful buildings followed by a few hours at one of the beach resorts from where we went out on a small boat for some snorkelling.  The resort one wonderful and David and Chris enjoyed the sites, the rest of us enjoyed the beach.   After lunch we made our way over to where the boat was waiting for us to take us snorkelling over an old tugboat.  The sea was very rough so the ride out to the site was a bit like a roller coaster ride and a bit frightening at times but we got there eventually.   The trip back was much better as we were going with the waves not against them.
