Where are we going, this time

Flying to the UK via Dubai, touring the UK for two weeks visiting Yorkshire of course. Then down to Southampton to board the Caribbean Princess to cruise the Baltic to Bruges, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, St. Petersburg, Tallin, Gdansk, then back to Southampton where we board the Sea Princess on it's return to Sydney via Cork, Dublin, Glasgow, Reykjavik, Halifax, New York, Charleston, Curacao, Cartagena, Panama Canal, Manta, Lima, Pisco, Easter Island, Pitcairn Island, Tahiti, Bora Bora, Pago Pago, Auckland, Sydney, and then home to Melbourne.

Greenock

Our only stop in Scotland, we booked a tour of the local area, which was done by local volunteers, and very well done it was.   The tour took us to Lyle Hill, which has a lookout area at the top which spectacular views over both Greenock and Gourock, we then drove down into Gourock and along the coast back to Greenock.

We had organised to meet up with a friend for lunch; Marjorie took us to a lovely café overlooking the River Clyde in Gourock where we had a wonderful lunch.   I have always found the scenery in Scotland spectacular and this part of Scotland was not exception.
