Yorkshire

After a relaxing couple of days at June’s, we drove up to Haworth in Yorkshire.  The trip took a lot longer than we thought due to the amount of roadwork on the M1, for about 50% of the journey the speed limit was reduced to 50MPH.  We eventually arrived at the Old White Lion Hotel in Haworth where we will be staying for the next 4 nights.

Whilst in Haworth we met up with some friends from Canberra, we spent the day showing them around the dales visiting; Bolton Abbey and Malham Cove and passing through many of the quaint villages in the Yorkshire dales.

On our last full day in Yorkshire we visited my favourite town in the UK.  We have been here a couple of times; I love York and the history that this city holds and never tire of walking around the cobbled streets.
